Laura & Ryan's Engagement Session | Herschell Carrousel Museum, Riviera Theater & Gatewa
As a city planner, I knew Laura had wanted to incorporate some iconic Buffalo buildings and architectural details into her and Ryan's engagement session, as it was something we had discussed in our very first meeting prior to them booking! However, they really wanted to think outside the box and go somewhere different than the standard downtown Buffalo and Lake Erie/ Buffalo Harbor locations.
When Laura suggested going to the Herschell Carrousel Museum to kick off their engagement session earlier this month, I was immediately excited - what a unique idea!! And it seemed bound to turn out some extra-cute photos (which it did!). Ryan and Laura decided to stick to the Tonawanda area for the remainder of their shoot - incorporating Webster Street and the historic Riviera Theater into their photos for that 'iconic Buffalo architecture' feel they were going for. Gateway Harbor Park was icing on the cake, giving us some pretty nature and water to balance things out.
As if these two darlings weren't delightful enough, they brought their lovable pup, Sophie, for a few photos! After all, Ryan's Christmas proposal wouldn't have been the same without Sophie delivering a sweet note to Laura right before he popped the question!
I cannot wait for Laura & Ryan's wedding next summer! They are hosting their wedding and reception at the Buffalo History Museum because of it's amazing history - it's the only building still standing that was built for the PanAmerican Exposition held in Buffalo in 1901! What an awesome way to pay homage to classic Buffalo architecture!
I've said it a hundred times and I'll say it again > my clients are awesomesauce times a million : ) Check out all of the fun we had at Laura & Ryan's engagement session below.
