Nicole + Gretchen's downtown Buffalo + Botanical Gardens engagement

I had so much fun exploring downtown Buffalo with these two ladies for their engagement session - even though that was no where near our original game plan for the day 🤣 At first we had planned to go to Glen Park in Williamsville, but it being springtime, the weather forecast the day before their shoot looked like it was going to be a rough time to be hanging out outside for photos ☔️

So the night before their shoot we came up with Plan B > visit City Hall and the Botanical Gardens for mostly indoor photos. Well, we arrive at City Hall the Friday before Easter only to find out that's it's closed (duh!) for Good Friday. Whoops! 🤦‍♀️

That was the bad news... good news was there was no rain and a mostly empty downtown Buffalo! So we walked around the city for a while taking photos inside and outside. Then we zipped over to the Botanical Gardens for some more photos in their stunning gardens.

Overall the session was quite the mini adventure ☺️ These ladies were so sweet and in love (and ready to finally tie the knot!) - it really shines through in their photos. You just can't fake that look of pure love and admiration 🖤
