Sara + Grant's Country Club of Buffalo Wedding
Sara and Grant had a truly fairytale wedding. Their reception, set in the twinkling gardens and castle-like grounds of the Country Club of Buffalo looked like something from a Disney movie. Fitting for a couple who visits the happiest place on earth a lot and got engaged in front of their favorite Disney ride - Expedition Everest.
Their fairytale wedding day begin with Sara and Grant getting ready with all of their family and friends at the Wyndham Garden Hotel on Main St in Williamsville. Instead of doing a first look, the couple opted for a first touch - where they stood shoulder to shoulder exchanging letters and wedding gifts and calmed any of those pre-ceremony nerves.
They were married at St. Mary’s Church in Swormville in a sweet ceremony brimming with all of those wedding day feels 🥰
After saying I do, the wedding tribe headed to Island Park in Williamsville for photos with the beautiful greenery and creek. This was one of my favorite parts of the day - everyone was buzzing with the excitement of Sara and Grant finally (after 10 years!) tying the knot. They were excited to celebrate, take photos and have the *best day ever*. I’ll never forget lining up the groomsmen to do my Reservoir Dogs walk and Grant’s brother, Brent, saying “this guy doesn’t know Reservoir Dogs… tell him to channel his inner Buzz Lightyear” 🤣 Touché my friend.
During their engagement session, which you can see here, we had to make a run for Moor Pat when the rain at Glen Park picked up. So of course we had to return to the bar for a few wedding day photos 🍻 I’m pretty obsessed with the photos we snapped of Sara and Grant here - the combination of the grungy, sticker clad pub with Sara and Grant looking like a fairytale prince and princess.
Lastly we hit the 18th hole for some photos at the Country Club of Buffalo, their reception venue, before the crew made their grand entrance. Holy cow is that waterfall and rock wall GORGEOUS! Actually, the entire place was simply stunning - from the castle like building, to the gardens where guests were seated for dinner, to all of Sara and Grant’s thoughtful details. Even the view off of the terrace made me feel like I was not in Amherst anymore.
The speeches brought tears to my eyes (you wedding parties gotta stop doing that! I’m supposed to be able to see when I’m taking pictures 😉), the food was to die for, the bride and groom’s first dance was adorably choreographed and so much fun. I was a little sad when it was time for me to go - so much so that I stayed for a few extra songs just to keep snapping away at all of the fun!
This couple is so sweet and deserves their happily ever after so much. From our consultation, to their engagement session to the big wedding day, I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of such a special occasion in their lives and feel truly honored to have been allowed such an up close and personal look at one of my now all time favorite love stories!
Congratulations Sara and Grant! I hope married life is every bit of the fairytale you two deserve!! And next time you go to Disney, feel free to invite a photographer friend along 😎

“Jaimie takes the time to really get to know your vision and hopes for your big day and who you are as a couple. The initial meeting with her was held at our house and we loved how comfortable she made us feel.
My husband and I were both nervous the day of our engagement session but Jaimie makes you feel instantly comfortable and like you can be yourselves with her.
The weeks leading up to the wedding she took the time to call me personally and go through the timeline and expectations. She went over in detail all of the shots that I wanted and all of the things that I have envisioned since I was a little girl! She took the time to respond to texts and emails at almost any time of day!
The day of the wedding went super smoothly. Jaimie took direction and made sure we got every single shot that we planned for (and some fun ones that we didn't).
My husband and I could not be happier with how our wedding photos came out. Jaimie really turned our dreams into reality.
I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Jaimie! Thank you for playing such a HUGE role in our happily ever after!” - Sara
