Alison + Matt tie the knot at O'Brien's Sleepy Hollow | East Aurora NY Wedding

Man oh man was Alison & Matt’s wedding a joyous day! I mean every single person seemed to be overflowing with excitement and love for this couple. It’s not hard to see why.. their sweet, smiley personalities were infectious. Their love for each other is so glaringly obvious... I mean I know this was their wedding day, but I find it easy to imagine them like this every day.

The day they had planned was quite the adventure. It started with the whole crew - bridesmaids, groomsmen and family - getting ready on separate floors at an Airbnb in Buffalo's Allentown neighborhood.

Alison and Matt decided they wanted to do a First Look so that they could spend lots of time with their guests after their ceremony. We set them up at Buffalo's Japanese Gardens and had a sweet, intimate moment with the bride and groom (and the best man crying over my shoulder 🤣 🖤).

After some wedding party photos at the Japanese Gardens, we headed over to Gallagher Pier to sneak off with the bride and groom alone for a little while. It was perfectly quiet, the sun was shining, and the wind played fun tricks with her veil. Needless to say, we got some amazing shots!

Our photo session didn’t event end there! Lastly, we zipped the whole wedding party over to O’Brien's Sleepy Hollow, their East Aurora venue, for some more photos of the bridesmaids and groomsmen prior to the ceremony. And the rest, as they say, is history... a day filled with love, laughter, "I do's" and so much joy.

Within days of tying the knot, these two headed off on their next adventure... moving to Massachusetts for their residencies. I'm not gonna lie... I'm a little sad myself that they won't be around to be my new bffs, but hopefully Buffalo will get lucky some day in the future and these two love doctors will return 😉.
