5 Unique Buffalo New York Wedding Venues
It's finally here... time to start planning your DREAM wedding! But you don't want a standard banquet hall... and that's (more than) ok!
It's the 2020s and weddings are so fun and different than what our parents and grandparents were doing! I love that you can literally say I do and celebrate your love in so many unique ways.
If you know Buffalo then you know we're city of artists and eclectics... there's no one size fits all weddings here. So, let's talk about your options for a totally unique wedding venue!
a former bank turned stunning venue, this place will make your jaw hit the floor the second you walk in the door. Its grandiosity is out of this world! And the Vault!! Who doesn't want wedding photos taken with a bank vault in a building that dates back to 1912?! This place is timeless and elegant - a dream come true.
Equipped with a bridal suite for getting ready and located in downtown Buffalo so you and your guests have nearby hotels to stay at, this could be the PERFECT wedding spot for you!
Another piece of Buffalo history... this renovated theater is just overwhelmingly beautiful. Say your vows in the most unique setting - on the theater's balcony overlooking your gorgeous reception space where you'll spend the evening celebrating your love.
Located in downtown Buffalo there are also plenty of places within walking distance for photos of you and your wedding party as well! The venue is within the Aloft Hotel too so there's plenty of space to accommodate your wedding party and guest list.
Rich's has been another staple of Buffalo NY (I'm noticing a trend here...) since the 1940s. And now, they've converted the atrium of their factory into a stunning venue with mile-high ceilings and modern decor.
Located along the Niagara River, you even have a park within walking distance for wedding party or even sunset photos. When the sun sets, the DJ's uplighting hits and the dance floor starts bumping... this place certainly brings the drama (the kind you want on your wedding day).
Is Buffalo History your jam? This 120 year old building in the heart of Buffalo's Old First Ward could definitely be the unique wedding venue you're looking for in that case! With little reminders of Buffalo's past in their room of antiques (such a fun place for photos!), a rustic barn door and twinkle lights galore - every which way you look is certainly unique!
The exposed brick, archways and collection of antiques throughout make this one of my favorite Buffalo venues for that rustic, industrial aesthetic. But my favorite feature? The rooftop patio with killer sunset views :)
Also set downtown so you're able to walk to plenty of iconic Buffalo photo spots such as Main Street, City Hall and some of our murals as well as hotels to snooze the night away after tearing up the dance floor.
Still searching for a photographer for your unique wedding day?! I just might be your gal ;)
